How long have you been in business
Founded by a former On-Air Radio Personality, Now That's Entertainment! has been serving the Midwest for over 15 years.
What if we have a special song on our own CD that is not on your list? Can we bring it?
Certainly! We take great pride in our music selection and we will work very had to accommodate your special requests. However, we do welcome you to bring your own CD if necessary. Be sure to mark your CD so that we can return it to you.
How far in advance do we need to reserve a date?
Many Saturdays are booked 9 - 15 months in advance and sell out quickly. Because we have several DJ's, we can usually accommodate your event from six (6) months to one (1) year in advance. We suggest booking your DJ as soon as you have set your date.
Can you provide music for my wedding ceremony also?
Absolutely! We have supplied music for numerous ceremonies in the past several years. We personally meet with you to assist you in the coordination of the ceremony and help you pick out your music selections
What time will you arrive?
We will arrive at the venue 1 1/2 hours prior to the show, possibly more depending on the size of the venue and whether you are having a lighting package or not. This allows us plenty of time to be completely set up, dressed, and playing background music when your first guest walks into the room
Do you take requests?
Certainly! Our goal is for you and your guests to have the time of their lives. We will gladly take requests
Will you emcee the evening?
Of course! We will be happy to make any announcements or direct any events throughout the evening. We can even meet with you prior to that evening (a must for wedding rececptions) to help plan and coordinate the evening
What type of equipment do you use?
We use only professional, high-end DJ gear. Our equipment is serviced and maintained regularly to ensure a smooth performance. It is all housed in attractive, professional, cases. Our hardware includes a wireless microphone, and high-tech filters and effects to guarantee the best possible sound quality
How do you dress?
Because most of our events are formal, we dress formally in a tuxedo. However, if you have a themed event, we may dress according to the theme, if you would prefer. (Boots and jeans for a country wedding, bermuda shorts and hawaiin shirts for a pool party, etc).
Do you accept tips?
Alot of entertainers will place a tip jar on their equipment so that requests can be "bought" by the guests. Because we are a professional company, charging a professional fee for providing entertainment, we do not expect nor require tips when taking requests
Why a disc jockey?
Professional disc jockeys are able to adapt to any situation. Good DJs pick up the party's mood and zero in on the music that best fits the guests. Also, DJs serve as masters of ceremonies for any special events. Skilled DJs also are able to provide background or mood music for non-dancing situations.
